The 'Pro Road' caller on 3AW

This morning, in Neil Mitchels show on 3AW, today they have a segment, with that Gallbally lawyer guy, and the topic was 'improving public transport'.


Just a little moment ago, a caller phoned in and said,

`` There are two problems with the public transport network, and they both need to be fixed.

++Level crossings need to be removed. As you have more trains operating, you make it harder for motorists to get through.

Sydney has just 3 crossings and we have hundreds

++Trams where made in an era before the motor car, they should be replaced with electric busses (known as trolley busses)''

I reckon it will be a long time before at least a quarter of the crossings are taken away. We all saw how long it took to remove one, now try and and do 200 or so.

And i know someone who will be impressed out the trolleybuses!
