| Sheduled for , Friday the 22nd of June 2007.
People can just turn up, they can drive and park at the station, or they can take the train.
People can turn up anytime during that day, many turn up near dawn.
The event stops with the 'last train to Melbourne' which was once a 'Sprinter' of which ran non stop, but was arranged as a 'special stop' on those nights.
There is a BBQ on the platform that night, with Sausages and Hamburgers for just $1.50 without bread.
Tallarook, does have a pub, and a General store in a short walking distance from the station, they have 'pizza top pies (I call them)' A standard Ausie Meat pie, with stuff on top of it like dried tomato, and other things.

| Catering at Tallarook Train Watchers is,
A milk bar, which sells Pies, Fish and Chips, Pizza and etc.
The Station BBQ, is a train watchers night event only, and has the following, +Sausages for $1.50 each +Plain hamburgers (Just the flat bits of meat) $1.50 each +Soft Drink cans, nice and cold.
The former signal box, which now is built as a nice large lounge room, has a log fire which goes all night long. It is sure to be nasty cold outside, but hot and steamy inside, and it is open to all to stay in there all night long, until the last train back to Melbourne is due anyhow.

| For more information, I would ask people to venture into 'The Railfan shop' in the city.
They are afterall, the trading arm of the ARE (Association of railway enthusiests), given that Tallarook train watchers is meant to be an 'ARE' event, and the leaseholder of Tallarook, is the President of the ARE.
As for how many turn up, we have had as much as 30 come at certain summer events, generally it is less for the Winter ones.
May I ask, how many of you are members of ARE?, and who may look at getting membership with them, I understand that membership is around $50 per year, and includes a 10% discount to books in 'The Railfan Shop'.
